For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

[Hebrews 3:18,19; 4:1-11]

If we want to remain in God’s rest, we must continually declare The Word. Faith talks! So we must hold fast our confession of faith (Heb 4:14). We sit down, saying The Word of God about our situation and nothing else. With praise on our lips we declare, “The Lord is my refuge and my fortress, my God in Him will I trust. My Heavenly Father The Lord God Almighty is my strength and my overflowing power. He is the sustainer of my life. I don’t fear when I walk through the dark valley because my God is with me, and He is the biggest and most powerful One in the valley. I don’t have a care in the world, because He cares for me!

When sick labor to enter His rest. Increase the confession of the Word. The Blessing of Abraham drives the curse out of our bodies. We are blessed going in and blessed going out. The Blessing brings health to us.

We confess we are delivered healed, prosperous because we know it is finished, Jesus had done everything. He has given us everything we will ever need in the life and also life eternal. Resting in what Christ has accomplished in the way for Salvation.

Very few are restful, many are toiling to enter into God’s rest. In Matt 7:13,14, Jesus said, Come unto me all ye that labor and are heaving laden and I will give you rest.(Deu 6:10-11)

When we realize what Jesus our High Priest has done for us, we realize that according to the scriptures how completely innocent God’s Children (those who trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour) are in His sight. (Isa. 43:25)

“I even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.”

God does not want to remember bad things about His children  (Isa. 43:26) “Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou may be judged.” God had blotted our transgressions out of His mind. They are gone He is offering us a blank page in His memory. Now we fill it up with what we want Him to remember about us. So we shout “I’m Blessed, The Blessing of Abraham is ours through Jesus Christ. Jesus had put the Blessing in us and the blessing overflows out of us and everywhere we go we are a blessing to others. Thank you for not forgetting that Lord!”

If we have sinned and not repented, repent right, then and there and move on trusting Jesus to be faithful and just. We just believe God and receive His Word shedding our old religious unworthy sin mentality.

We put on our new role of righteousness, throwing off the old garments of unworthiness. We have been saved by Grace through faith in Christ. We are kings and priests and are seated with Christ Jesus in Heavenly places. We can now enter unashamedly into the secret place of God’s rest because the scripture says He is not ashamed to call us His brethren.. As Jesus, so are we in this world.. God tells us to be fearful, (Heb 4:1-4), that we do not enter His rest.

When we believe that Jesus paid our sin debt and we are forgiven, then only we see ourselves, healed, prosperous. Jesus said which is easier- Be healed or Your sin be forgiven? When we are forgiven we are healed.

Jesus walked in the realm of the finished work. We too should do the same.

(Heb.4 :11) Let us labor therefore to enter that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

We need to fight the temptation to worry (I Peter 5:7,8). Casting all our care upon God for he cares for us. The devil devours those who are afraid and worried about everything.

When we are in God’s rest the devil cannot enter. The devil cannot harm a peaceful Christian, so he wants to get us worried and afraid to stop the Grace of God flowing to us. The very areas we are worried about are the very areas that get the least flow of grace. We ourselves by worrying stop or clog the access of the Glory of God from flowing into our lives. The devil cannot stop the Grace of God from flowing so he gets us worried and afraid about lying symptoms in our body or our finances. When we are worried we are unable to see the problem in the correct perspective, nor find the solution. If we refuse to be troubled, trusting in the Lord he cannot stop the Grace of God from flowing into our lives. Fear is faith contaminated (John 14:26-27). Jesus said Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid and the Peace of God will fill your heart.

The Holy Spirit will teach us all things, if we ask Him and bring all things to our remembrance and give us peace. He will show us the way out of the problems we are in. He operates when our heart is not troubled. His grace flows the best in worry-free areas of our Life.

(Phil 4:6,7) tells us to be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be known unto God and the peace of God which passeth all understanding will keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. God wants us not worry because he loves us and wants to see us happy. It’s only when man rests, God can work.
