Matthew 6:9-13
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name – Matt 6:9
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise, be thankful unto Him and bless His Name (Psalm 100:4).
Come into His presence praising and worshipping Him. Ascribe the glory due to His name. Thank Him.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. – Matt 6-10
Pray – Father I know that it is Your Will for things to be done on earth the way they are in Heaven. In heaven there is no sickness, poverty, therefore it is not God’s will for us to be sick or poor on earth. In the presence of the Lord there is abundant joy, praising and worshipping.
That is how He expects us to be on earth.
We should pray that what is already waiting for us in heaven would begin to manifest here in our lives on earth. Eternal life has already begun.
Give us this day our daily bread. – Matt 6:11
We reach out and take it in faith saying, Father! Thank you. I receive my healing. I take my prosperity. I love you Father!
He has already supplied, so we reach out and take it.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: … Matt 6:12,13.
Once we believed and received the Lord, our sins are forgiven- past, present and future. As God had forgiven our sins, we ought to forgive those who have sinned against us, so that, we can get rid of all the negative emotions like hatred, anger that prevents us from experiencing the love of God and we can come boldly into His presence without guilt.
God does not lead anyone into temptation. Jesus was led into temptation on our behalf and overcame the devil.
It is by our own lusts we are led into temptation. The lust of the eyes (lust for material things), pride of life and the lust of the flesh.
Pray – Father, I know it is not Your will for me to be tempted. You shall preserve me from all evil. You shall preserve my soul. (Psalm 121:7)
…For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen – Matt 6:13
Jesus has already delivered us out of the Kingdom of darkness and set us in the kingdom of light. We belong to our loving Heavenly Father. For this praise HIM.
For every man that asketh receiveth: and he that seeketh findeth: and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
- Luke 11:10
God answers every prayer that is according to His Word.
Pray by thanking Him first, praising Him and declaring His greatness, then state your request and end by praising Him. Focus on God (who is your solution) and your vision of Him will increase and your problem will seem minor.
The manifestation of our answer is affected when we become discouraged, depressed or when we give up. (or) The devil might be hindering (or) somethings may take a period of time to manifest. Healing process should be instant though.
As a believer in Christ we take our authority and command the devil to leave and we speak directly to the problem. Then act on God’s word. We don’t just sit idle waiting.
