Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

                                                                                                         - Hebrews 11:3

You will have whatsoever you say.
                                                                                       - Mark 11:12-14,2-24

One of the laws of faith is that we must speak our faith. When God created the Heavens and the Earth, He said, “Let there be light: and there was light. (Gen 1:3). We release our faith through our words. Faith is always voice activated.

King David said in Psalm 116:10 “I believed, therefore have I spoken”. Paul quoted this statement of David in II Cor 4:13 and referred to it as a spirit of faith. Therefore we can see that the true spirit of faith speaks. This not only works in the positive, but also in the negative. Jesus said we will have whatsoever we say.

Most people are ignorant of this truth; or they don’t believe it. They say things they would not want to come to pass. But we will have whatsoever we say. Instead of saying what they want, most people usually say what they have, thereby sealing their destruction. We need to learn the lesson that Jesus taught His disciples, to use our words to change our situation.

You may think your words don’t matter that much, but they do. Jesus said that what’s in your heart in abundance will come out of your mouth (Matt 12:34). You can tell what you really believe by the words you speak. If you are pessimistic, your words will reveal it. If you are full of faith and hope your speech will certainly coincide.

What words are you speaking? If you realize that your words are not filled with faith don’t just change your words change your heart and your words will follow suit. Words are the gauge of the heart.
Words are supreme. If we want to be successful in the Kingdom of God, we must learn to live by God’s principles. Words are important. Use them to your advantage.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Proverbs 18:21

Every word that comes out of our mouth has creative or destructive power. Our words can either build a person up or destroy him. We have to bear the fruit of our words, if we do not get our words in the right direction to line up with the Word of God (Proverbs 18:7). At the day of judgement, we have to give an account of every idle word we have spoken.

But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement.
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
(Matthew 12:36-37)

God has given our words His power and authority.

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
(Matthew 28:18-20)

The authority we have as believers in Christ today is superior to the authority Adam had. Jesus Christ has recovered every thing that had been lost and the authority and power (ability and might) He has, is now given to us and much more (Matthew 10:1, 7-8)

However, along with this superior authority we have been given, comes responsibility. If it is not used, then we stop Him from intervening as God flows through us. God is not glorified, if we are sick and poor without joy, peace and strength. Jesus has come to give us life to live more abundantly. (John 10:10).

We have been given power and authority over the devil. (Luke 9:1). Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Accept that power, take the authority and use it to speak to the problem and command things to change.

Jesus gave us power to heal the people and not just to pray for them (Matthew 10:8). Peter knew he had power. He took responsibility and healed the lame man (Acts 3:1-8). We need to believe that God has already healed us (I Peter 2:24). He gave us the authority to use His name and His power. If we do not command healing to come, it will not happen. We need to recognize that we are asking God what He has asked us to do. We should not pray, “God whatever you will, let it be”. God expects us to pray His will. Pray without ceasing, giving thanks in everything.

We should persevere (patience) (Hebrews 10:36-39). Curse the sickness or any lack the devil tries to throw at us in Jesus name, speaking healing and blessing over the situation daily. Use faith to speak your miracle into existence. When God created the world, He had to speak it into existence. Open your mouth and speak. The same power and authority is given to us by Jesus Christ to make sickness, torment and poverty leave.

We should not focus on the problem but decree God’s solution to the problem in faith. As faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). The two blind men visualized themselves healed and the compassion of God was what healed them (Matthew 20:32-34).

Sometimes, the devil tries to attack our minds with bad thoughts as the mind is the battleground. But we can overcome it, by what Jesus did - counter acting with the Word of God “It is written” - quote a scripture fitting to the casting down of the thought in mind. To be able to do that, we should know the Word of God (wisdom of God).

Proverbs 15:23 says - A man has joy by the answer of his mouth.

When we start answering the troubles and trials we are facing with the Word of God, it will release joy in us and chase the devil off. Satan cannot stand the joy of the Lord. The joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

Our negative words can grieve the Holy Spirit and prevent the angels that are assigned by God to help (Hebrews 1:14) and protect us (Psalms 103:20). Angels hearken unto the voice of the Word of God spoken by us (Psalms 91:10-13).

When we speak God’s Word in faith, we can make things come to pass. When attacked by sickness, depression, poverty, fear - speak the Word of God over the situation. Do not let your imagination carry you away and over exaggerate the situation you are in. Take action - as faith without works is dead. This is the victory that overcomes even our faith(I John 5:4). Be confident that our Lord Jesus Christ has recovered everything that had been lost. When faced with challenges, speak favour over it. Declare God’s favour (Isaiah 48:18).

Every promise in the Bible is worth fighting for. It belongs to us, bought by the precious Blood of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Do not let satan deceive you into thinking you are unworthy to receive the promises of God. If you are a born again spirit filled believer, then we are the children of God and therefore joint heirs of the promises of Jesus Christ. All the promises in Christ are - Yes and Amen

For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
2 Cor 1:20

It is our responsibility to say Yes and Amen (so be it) agreeing to God’s promises to attain God’s promises for us.
