In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace

  -  Ephesians  1:7

God Almighty, in the blood of Jesus has covenanted Himself to us. The New Covenant was ratified, by the blood of Jesus. There is protection and deliverance in the blood. We can put our entire confidence on that blood sworn oath that is covenant - sworn by Almighty God.

When God made the covenant with Abraham-The Old Covenant, though it was an inferior covenant to ours, made with the blood of animals, yet Abraham in whose day these covenant ceremonies were made, knew what entering into a blood covenant meant, you are totally and forever giving yourself away to someone else. All that you had would become the equal property of your covenant partner. The covenant partners exchanged coats, giving their authority to the other; they exchanged weapons implying that they would fight the other partner’s enemies, as if they were their own. They walked through the blood of slain animals, pronouncing their loyalty to one another even to the death. Abraham was fully convinced that God’s promises could be trusted; it became an anchor to his soul.

When Jesus took the communion cup in the upper room, He said “Take this and drink it. This is the New covenant in My blood ratified (given) for you. Jesus is the mediator of the New Covenant. His blood has purged our sin.

The blood guarantees that every word in the written word of God is a blood sworn oath. “All the promises of God are Yes and Amen in Jesus ( 2 Cor. 1:20)

The blood sworn oath is an anchor to our souls. (Heb 6:13-20). It becomes an inner strength on the inside of us. God is our Father and Jesus is our blood brother. Everything that is His is ours (Eph 1:3-5) and everything that is ours is His.

God had made us heirs and joint heirs with Christ.

He has given us His Name (John 16:23) His authority (Matt 28:18-20) His armour and weapons (Eph 6:10-18).

To be afraid to act or speak before you can see or feel something is to doubt God’s sworn oath, the Name of Jesus and the blood of the Lamb.

Jesus’ blood shed for us on the cross removed our sin, the barrier that separated us from God, when we received Jesus as our Lord, we took our place in our part of the New Covenant and activated our freedom. And every time we repent of sin, it is destroyed forever and we are cleansed of its effect (1John 1:9). That is why we can walk free of condemnation. God does not condemn us. It’s our hearts that condemn us. If our heart does not condemn us, we have the confidence toward God and whatever we ask in prayer we receive, because we keep his commandments – believe in Jesus and love one another ( 1 John 3:20-23).  Through the blood of Jesus, we are redeemed from the bondage of satan. When the devil accuses us, we plead the blood of Jesus, for we are not guilty of sin and guilt any more. Jesus has given us freedom to live victoriously and life to live more fully.

As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions (sins) from us (Psalms 103:12). Our sins are continually being cleaned by the Blood.  Jesus’ blood has obtained eternal redemption for us (Heb 9:12). The blood of Jesus has justified us ( as if we have not sinned). We are made righteous (Heb 2:9-18).

As by one man (Adams’ transgression), sin entered into the world and death by sin; because the wages of sin is death and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. But God commanded His love toward us, while we were yet sinners, Christ Jesus died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood we shall be saved from wrath through (Jesus) him (Rom 5:8-9,12)

In Leviticus 17:11, we see “For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that maketh atonement for the soul.

When we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement (Rom 5:10-11). For He (God) hath made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him (Jesus) (2 Cor 5:21).

Jesus who is wholly God and holy and just took our sin on himself, bore the judgment of sin, which is death, For the wages of sin is death (Rom 6:23a) and gave us his righteousness.

So therefore if any man be in Christ Jesus he is a new creature, old things are passed away: behold all things are become new. And all things are of God who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation. To know that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself not imputing their sin unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation (2 Cor 5:17-19). God gave us His Word. His gift of eternal life (not only in this present life, but in the life to come) and it is through Jesus Christ our Lord (Rom 6:23b).

We need to believe and receive by faith as Abraham believed God and it was imputed unto him for righteousness and he was called the friend of God (James 2:23), it shall be imputed unto us also who believe on (God) him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead who was delivered for our offences (sins) and was raised again for our justification (declaring us righteous in God’s sight). Therefore now being justified by faith was have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Rom 5:1). And we have the faith that as God had raised Jesus Christ from the dead; becoming the first fruits of them that slept, we too who are in Christ have the blessed hope of resurrection of the dead. For since by man came death (Adam) by man (Jesus- wholly God and wholly man) came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. Christ the first fruits afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming (1 Cor 15:20-23) (1 Cor 15:51,52) we shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye – the dead shall be raised, incorruptible, and we shall be changed. Death is swallowed up in victory. Thanks be to God which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Through the blood of Jesus we are sanctified, made holy, set apart for God. The Holy Spirit who abides in us teaches us and guides us in all holiness.(1 Cor 6:17)But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. We are not our own. We are bought with a price – Jesus’ sacrificial blood was the price he paid for our freedom. We are God’s. We say as Paul in (Gal 2:20)”I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me and the life which I now live in the  flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and give himself for me.”

Through the blood of Jesus we have the boldness to enter into the presence of God (Eph 3:12). In Christ we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

We enter rejoicing in the Lord praising and thanking him for his great love and mercy (Phil 4:4-7). By prayer and supplication with thanksgiving we make our requests known unto God. We ask and receive according to all Jesus has provided for us through the atonement.  For every good and perfect gift is from the Lord. He has given us all good things richly to enjoy. James says ( James 4:3) – that we ask and do not receive because we  ask amiss (with wrong purpose and evil, selfish motives) that we may consume it upon our lusts.

The blood of Jesus speaks better words than the blood of Abel continually to God on our behalf (Heb 12:24)

Jesus is our high priest for ever (Heb 6:26). Jesus saves us, however vile we be, when we call unto Him. (Heb 7:25). Wherefore he is able to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.(Heb 7:25)

Jesus saves.
